Question local tire shops?

am looking into getting a set of 214 45r 17's locally if possible. As you can probably guess price is a primary concern, any good shops in or around Calgary??

I'm going to assume you mean 225/45/17. Honestly, I don't know of a single place in town that will give you a real good price. If price is a primary concern, go to www.tiretrends.ca and look at the Falken and Kumho lines. I've used them three times now, and they have always provided great prices and good service. Once you get the tires to your door, go someplace like Harper Tire with the road force balance machine and have your tires mounted and balanced.

My Tires is a small shop in the northeast (or is it northwest...can't remember). It's an independent shop and kind of a one-man show.

I heard good things about them from various sources online, and when I bought winter tires for my TS, they had the best prices in town.

Give Anand a call and tell him what you want - chances are he'll find something for you at a decent price.

How about Costco? Maybe a special order but they usually have good prices. I got a set which was a custom order cancellation for 20% off
