Default Car randomly doesn't start now

1996 Impreza L Sedan 2.2L auto

So yesterday I was driving around, just regular roads, nothing hard. Everything worked perfectly fine/normal, and I parked it in my driveway like usual.

This morning, I wake up, and go to start my car. The engine turns over, and it starts, but the second it starts, it shuts off. It sounds normal when it starts, but when it catches and starts to run, it immediately turns off. The only way I can get it to stay on is if I rev it to 3000-4000 for the brief second while it's on before it turns off again. Once I do that, it stays on, and everything works fine until I turn it off again.

This nothing to do with the temp outside, it was really warm this morning, and it has gotten through all of winter without a single problem.

Anybody have any clue what is wrong before I take it in? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Check the Idle Control valve (i think that's what it's called?), I had that same problem with my old car, I'd have to rev it up to start it, and it would randomly turn off while driving. I had to take the thing out and clean it and it worked perfectly ever since

After driving it home again today, I've discovered that it starts perfectly fine when it is warmed up. The problem isn't the temp outside though, it was really warm today, so that's not an issue. Thank you for replying, where exactly is the idle control valve? I'll search around to find out where it is, but any additional info from you would be great

Thank you!!

Well, I've taken a good look at it. After being driven, if within a minute or two, it starts up fine. After a minute or two, I need to rev it to get it to start. I'm starting to think there's a problem with fuel. I think I hear a gurgling sound coming from the back right end of the car, (which is where gas cap is), when it doesn't turn on. It gurgles for maybe 5 seconds softly, then stops. I don't know what this means.

Anyone out there with any suggestions, PLEASE help me out!
