Default Good machine shop in Houston for a valve job???

Anyone know of one? I live in the NW, so anyhting in the NW would be even better.

what kind of valve job? you want bigger valves, new guides, etc?

nope, just the valve seats cut, the valves lapped in, and then the assembly of the springs, retainers, keepers, etc.

Scroggins Machine downtown. Used by a lot of shops in Houston. Very professional, and very good.

You have to call. They spend there time in the shop, not on the computer. Every time I go by, I don't even go into the "office."

What type of stuff have you had done by them? I will probably be having a valve job done on the ej22t heads I'm pulling off, and depending on the condition of the block, may have them rehone the cylinders.

I have had head work, on one V8 in a boat, and a full rebuild on the other. Also had him do an exam and clean up on an intake and make a statement to the insurance company. (Complex, but an overheat due to sucking mud is considered "running aground" and covered) I have never been disappointed by Bobby. Top notch work, and on time every time.

Cheap for the quality. That said, not the cheapest in town, but quite reasonable.
