Default 97 Impreza 2.2 Cyl 2&4 misfire CEL HELP

Ok, heres some history, the car ran perfectly up until last weekend. I pulled my motor to swap a timing belt and a clutch. The engine was also cleaned and hosed off (not pressure washed) after it was reassembled. Since then I have been getting random CEL's for misfire on CYL 2 and 4. They ALWAYS happen at the same time and only seem to happen while the car is idling. In addition, when I start the car cold and rev it or drive it it sounds like it is missing or something. This starts at around 1.8k RPM if I go anything more than ~15% throttle. This stops and the car runs perfectly approx. 4 or 5 minutes after I start it. The car continues to run perfectly even when the CEL comes on. Sometimes the light flashes and sometimes it just comes on solid.

I suspect the coilpack is behind this but I dont understand why its two cylinders at once. Anybody have any ideas?

usually a coil affects companion cyl., like 1 and 2 at once or 3 and 4 at once. 2 and 4 is both driver cylinders, so either you got water in both plug wells or two bad wires, etc. if the cam was off a tooth it would run pretty bad, all the time, good luck....
