Default Header CEL

So on my 04 RS, I just put on my cobb cai, and ebay knockoff borla headers..

my catback needs some work done so that isnt on yet but probably this weekend. I have no other mods that would affect the engine so im guessing this CEL i got from driving home from trying to get my midpipe fixed is from my headers. I have not yet gotten it read casue god knows where a autozone is by me.

Now if this doesnt go away (i figured i got it from long drive and hot day) what are some fixes i can do to get rid of it? I have heard of both eletrical and mechanical fixes, is either one better?

just any help would be appreciated

Did you reset the compreter after the install?

If i were you i would paint the headers, thick, with 1200 degree paint. Then wrap them with a lot of header wrap atleast back to the cats. I'm going to wrap my whole exhaust system when i do my car.
