Default LSD and ECU Question.

Hello, Thank you all for helping me out last time for the O2 sensor problem.
I replaced the O2 sensors and the problem was the heater wires were connected in a wrong way. so it burned out the whole heater circuit. When the ohm meter was connected it read about 9-10. The new one was very stable at 2 ohm. No problem for 5 days now. I am happy.

Now my next task is LSD, which I placed an order today. But again, there aren't enough people to ask about the effect of LSD when installed on open differential car. Some people say, take a driving school course or something.
Does it help around corners(w/o drifting)? How about in a straight line?
It's locking is 60%. what's the purpose of this kit? track? or drag?

Also, What is the effect of chip tuning? Does it affect cylinder presssure at all? If it does, do I need to use higher octane fuel? I am currently using 93 on my car, which is equivalant to 97.5 european octane gas. I am looking into this companies product(digitaltuning.ch). Their hp gain is about 27 but the tq is 82nm, which I think is crazy gain on NA 5.5L car. my car is 04 clk55 but I think you guys know more about these subjects than the people I have talked with so far.

Please give me some advises.
