Default Think you are living where you should be? Find out!

http://www.findyourspot.com/

I think I posted this a long time ago, but can't remember. Anyway, I found it in an email again, and tried it out again.

Great site, with cool information. (at teh end of teh survey, just make up a name and information...it will still show your results on the next page)

BTW, here are my top 6 spots it thinks I would want to live:

Colorado Springs, CO

Fort Collins, CO

Provo-Orem, UT

Boise, ID

Cheyenne, WY

Ogden, UT

What is cool though, is that where I do live is actually on the list on page 3, so I'm at least in one of my spots...lol.

CO springs sucks
Fort collins is not much better except for the girls going to school at UNC
Dont know if you have been to Cheyenne but

I really like that site if I remember correctly but I think it gave me CO Springs as well. I said if the rest of these places are like the Springs then all of the results are crap.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of CS after visiting there a few times. It's very nice looking, but the people weren't that friendly, and it's a little too touristy for me.

I have looked into Boise before. There are quite a few good tech jobs up there and it seemed like some decent skiing as well.

My top 6 are:

Phoenix
Dallas
Memphis
Forth Worth
Tampa
Orlando

Atlanta wasn't even on my list haha.

However I like in this area and probably would stay unless business moved me elsewhere.

I got a bunch of small towns in the Carolinas and Virginia, with a few no father north than Maryland. That sounds about right for me. I don't know how much longer I can deal with the weather and the pace of life in the northeast.

Ha! I answered every question to point toward Las Vegas, and my first option was Charleston, SC.

Different strokes for different folks. Cheyenne isn't ideally where'd I'd like to live, but I'm happy here. It was 5th on the list I got, Ft. Fun was 1st. I'd go insane if I was living in Denver. Cheyenne is great in that you're close to the mountains & city life but don't have to deal with all the traffic, taxes, etc. of Ft. Collins/Denver. North Denver is only a hour and 15 minute dive from here, downtown is another 15 minutes (when traffic is moving).

That was too funny

1st one on the list was the town I grew up in (Tacoma Wa)
2nd was where my mom lives (Olympia WA)

What an interesting mix. I wonder....

In all that was listed, Illinois and Missouri never came up. I'm not living in my ideal location apparently.

Yeah, it puts me firmly in the Mid-Atlantic/southern NE:

Norfolk, VA (hasn't OT just been talking about how much housing $$ sucks there?)

Charlotte, NC

Richmond, VA

Chapel Hill, NC

Long Island, NY

Philadelphia, Pa (grew up right outside here, so I guess it makes sense)

It really wants to put me in VA or NC though. Woo-Hoo, I'm a wannabe southerner! Sweet.

Mine all suck. With highlighted features ranging from "host of the 1974 World's Fair" to "home to the Sweatsville Zoo, a sculpture park with over 100 works made entirely from scrap metal", how can I resist?

I think I'll stay right where I am, thanks.

No - that's the wrong part of VA. Northern VA sucks for housing. Norfolk is the port in the Southern tip of VA.

I got the same results, except I already live in Raleigh. There were a few places scattered in the NW, such as Olympia, WA, as well. Most of my ideal locations were actually my ideal location (if I had my druthers) such as Asheville or Boone, NC.
