http://www.findyourspot.com/
I think I posted this a long time ago, but can't remember. Anyway, I found it in an email again, and tried it out again. Great site, with cool information. (at teh end of teh survey, just make up a name and information...it will still show your results on the next page) BTW, here are my top 6 spots it thinks I would want to live: Colorado Springs, CO Fort Collins, CO Provo-Orem, UT Boise, ID Cheyenne, WY Ogden, UT What is cool though, is that where I do live is actually on the list on page 3, so I'm at least in one of my spots...lol.

CO springs sucks
Fort collins is not much better except for the girls going to school at UNC Dont know if you have been to Cheyenne but I really like that site if I remember correctly but I think it gave me CO Springs as well. I said if the rest of these places are like the Springs then all of the results are crap. |

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of CS after visiting there a few times. It's very nice looking, but the people weren't that friendly, and it's a little too touristy for me. I have looked into Boise before. There are quite a few good tech jobs up there and it seemed like some decent skiing as well. |

I got a bunch of small towns in the Carolinas and Virginia, with a few no father north than Maryland. That sounds about right for me. I don't know how much longer I can deal with the weather and the pace of life in the northeast.

Yeah, it puts me firmly in the Mid-Atlantic/southern NE:
Norfolk, VA (hasn't OT just been talking about how much housing $$ sucks there?) Charlotte, NC Richmond, VA Chapel Hill, NC Long Island, NY Philadelphia, Pa (grew up right outside here, so I guess it makes sense) It really wants to put me in VA or NC though. Woo-Hoo, I'm a wannabe southerner! Sweet. |

Mine all suck. With highlighted features ranging from "host of the 1974 World's Fair" to "home to the Sweatsville Zoo, a sculpture park with over 100 works made entirely from scrap metal", how can I resist?
I think I'll stay right where I am, thanks.
