I think I posted this a long time ago, but can't remember. Anyway, I found it in an email again, and tried it out again.

BTW, here are my top 6 spots it thinks I would want to live:

Colorado Springs, CO

Fort Collins, CO

Provo-Orem, UT

Boise, ID

Cheyenne, WY

Ogden, UT


What is cool though, is that where I do live is actually on the list on page 3, so I'm at least in one of my spots...lol.

Fort collins is not much better except for the girls going to school at UNC
Dont know if you have been to Cheyenne but

I really like that site if I remember correctly but I think it gave me CO Springs as well. I said if the rest of these places are like the Springs then all of the results are crap.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of CS after visiting there a few times. It's very nice looking, but the people weren't that friendly, and it's a little too touristy for me.

I have looked into Boise before. There are quite a few good tech jobs up there and it seemed like some decent skiing as well.

I got a bunch of small towns in the Carolinas and Virginia, with a few no father north than Maryland. That sounds about right for me. I don't know how much longer I can deal with the weather and the pace of life in the northeast.

Different strokes for different folks. Cheyenne isn't ideally where'd I'd like to live, but I'm happy here. It was 5th on the list I got, Ft. Fun was 1st. I'd go insane if I was living in Denver. Cheyenne is great in that you're close to the mountains & city life but don't have to deal with all the traffic, taxes, etc. of Ft. Collins/Denver. North Denver is only a hour and 15 minute dive from here, downtown is another 15 minutes (when traffic is moving).

No - that's the wrong part of VA. Northern VA sucks for housing. Norfolk is the port in the Southern tip of VA.

I got the same results, except I already live in Raleigh. There were a few places scattered in the NW, such as Olympia, WA, as well. Most of my ideal locations were actually my ideal location (if I had my druthers) such as Asheville or Boone, NC.
