Default BOV Idle Problem

I searched long and hard but I couldn't find the exact answer for my question. Anyways, I have a Forge BOV (vent to atmosphere) and it is sticking open at idle. I just ordered a new spring set as the number one problem is that the spring gets tired.

While I wait for my springs, I was wondering if anyone had this problem and it was not caused by the spring. I wonder if I should just lube up the piston thingy inside the BOV to help ease it closed.

Thoughts, Suggestions???

Update: The secondary spring turned out to be broken. Forge is sending me one for free. Props for excellent customer service!!!
