Exclamation New Forum for Utah/Idaho/Nevada

Nick our Imprezident requested that we take a poll to see if it would be worthwhile.

We have been tossing around the idea of creating a new forum for these regions since we all do races and such together. Right now, it seems that this forum is all Colorado with a few posts from Utah and Idaho guys, but Idaho is also part of the Northwest region. I am not sure where Nevada is included so this would give them a place as well. Let me know your opinions and/or suggestions.

I don't know if we have enough people to justify a forum, but it seems that all of our topics are so localized, nobody else really needs to see them. On top of all that, we can't stay on topic worth a dang

People will start to frequent the new forum once that new intl track gets done

Cool, cool.

I'll still read the RM forum, but it'd be nice to have a place for us, more specifically.

I know and have met most everyone that would come in here, but i don't know any of the guys in Colorado, so it makes it a bit distant

[EDIT] I cast my choice for name as Great Basin Region.

I forgot to mention that we needed to come up with a forum name as well. Great Basin might be OK, if anyone new where that was

Any other forum name suggestions?

Great Basin is all i could think of at the time, but it is kind of a local thing.

How about Intermountain, Northern Deserts, Bonneville or West Mountain States.

Lame, but....

If Hawaii can keep a forum going you guys can.
Then Noah wouldn't have an excuse anymore not to look at our posts.

HAHAHA

Well, Noah is probably selling his RS, so he'll have even more reason not to come in here!

Perhaps we can find him a late 80s Turbo RX? That would be cool to see at an autocross, with 4 lugs, 110 turbo horses and low-range gearing.

MUAHAHAHA

How about the "Hole in the Ground" region? Or the Lost in the Desert forum. Or the "Drive 4 hours to get anywhere" forum.

How about "Between the Sierras and Rockies Region"

"Where Brigham Young Stopped for a Break Region"?

I still like "Intermountain" myself, with Great Basin not too far behind.

Notice that the AZ region just got larger, moving to "SouthWest" as to include guys from NM and perhaps Las Vegas, as it's really down there...

I still like for first suggestion turbo: Great Basin. I think of Intermountain as just Utah and Eastern Idaho.

look it's Noah, if you find a '93 that has a bad motor I know where there is a good 1.8L motor that would fit......

I like left of Rocky mtn region, since Utah is a little "left" from most everywhere else.
