Default OT: The New BMW & Mini Dealer in E-Town

The new building is coming along very nicely at Roper Road (51Ave) and 50 street beside Intuit. I bit of a different location than first suggested but nice to see in that end of town - my office isn't too far from there. If I remember I'll take some pics on my way by next time. I'm guessing they're trying to finish before the new 3 series arrives. That is if it isn't here already, I was out for a mountain bike ride this evening and thought I saw a new 3 series. I don't pay out much attention to anything 3 but the M3 since I decided long ago that they are for teenage girls with rich parents before moving on to the Land Rover Discovery phase or second rate lawyers. My rule with BMW is good if >=5 or M.

Sweet, I didn't realize there's a new BMW dealership opening up in the south, plus somewhat close to where I work. I might head over and check out the new 3 series when it's done.

I've owned BMW's before, and buying the cars is the cheap part. You need a trust fund or better to afford the maintenance if you're taking it to Bavaria.

Nice cars when they run properly, but certainly not the "ultimate driving machine".

It is scheduled to open in June and is owned by Bart Yachimec. He owns West Side Acura(Where I work), Great West Chrysler, West Side Mitsubishi, Alberta Honda, and West End Nissan. Also scheduled for a June opening is a new North Side Mitsubishi which will be in the same building as the old Alberta Honda before they moved across the train tracks.

The owner must have more faith in Mitsubishi then the car manufacturer's European Overlords. Unless things have changed drastically the only reason they're still around is becasue of a Keiretsu share swap that took place late last year.
