Default UTEC Boost logging. How do I do it?

I borrowed a laptop that I can use through lunch. I wanna go out and tune my boost controller. So I want to log the boost with rpm to see where I need to make changes. I've never interfaced with the UTEC before. How do I do this? I do know to use Hyperterminal for this, but I've never used Hyperterminal before either. I son't want to make any changes to the UTEC map. I just want to log.

I couldn't find the UTEC manual on the TXS website. But I did get the instructions I needed.

Go to Properties
Set it to read from COM1
Click configure to set the Bite rate to 19200
Ok//Accept all
Click the Transfer Tab
Click Capture Text
Name the file you wish to review later.
Click Start
Click on the white background, then hit ESC to bring up the main screen
Hit Shift and 1 to start logging.
Hit the space bar to pause when necessary
Click Tranfer, then Capture Text, then Stop to stop the log.

or get autologger, and it will automatically create log files depending on what parameters you set, mine is at 30% or more TPS. works great, saves them right on the desktop for easy access.

When I go to their site, the link to the manual is a link to some other file, like the 4.2c update or something. Fortunately they mailed me the manual with the part.

For whatever reason, the STi UTEC manual is not on the site.

The WRX manual is included in the zip file download, but the STi manual is MIA.

No matter, I've got a hardcopy.

Huh? The manual that came in the box is specific for the dual processor STi. It even says not to install the ABC on the STi unless you can't hit target boost.
