Default 05 WRX Exhaust

I tried searching for an answer to this, but has anyone put an 05 wrx catback on their rs/ts? Is the piping 2.25" like the older dual tip wrx exhaust, or is it 2.5"? And do you still only have to rotate the flange to make it fit? Thanks.

so there's no confusion:

05 wrx axle-back

although, this is rough measurement (no caliper). the axle-back inlet is effectively less than 60mm which is about 2.36". still that's not bad for a factory size.

however, look at this nice taper.

so in reality most of the piping is around 50mm.

what my shop had to do was, cut the flange at the start of the mid-pipe, add a flange from a rs/ts/obs, flare the flange, weld.

works and sounds great... although, the note isn't my ideal. i'm going to have a mid-pipe made with a different resonator.
