traceroute, look at the last hop before it gets to them, that should be their ISP

The whois will show you the DNS servers. A trace will give you a little more information and you could indeed see the isp in there.

whois will tell you the registrar information and the name servers. Usually has ISP info.
If you want to know who is hosting the website, do an nslookup to get the ip address, and then an ARIN whois lookup to see who owns the IP.
