Default Just bought a new '02 WRX Sedan

Hi. I'm a new member here and this is m first post. I recently bought a new '02 WRX and can't wait to modify it. I'm probably gonna go for performance before any "show" stuff, and I need some of your guys' advice.

What should my first few mods be? pipes, BOV, intake, exhaust, gauges
I'm probably going to get a BOV first, so which brand do you prefer. I want something that sounds nice and can be heard out loud. Hopefully the HKS SS.

Well, any help from you guys would surely help. oh and BTW, I used to own a '95 Supra NA.

Thanks,
Raymond

I'd forget about the BOV and get some REAL tires on your car before anything else. Then I'd work on the suspension, coilovers maybe. Then hp mods. And for the record, BOV is not really a "performance" mod since the stock one is acknowledged to be very good, it's a sound mod and nothing more.
If you really need a BOV, I'd suggest Forge since they have a buyback policy if anything goes wrong with it.

Default the most useful mod to consider

You know what? If you're really a newbie, then I suggest the first "mod" you should do is to yourself, ie, take some kind of driver training at a racing school. Or go to a local auto-x, stock, and learn some techniques. I see all these super modded cars out there, and they're nice, but the drivers just don't know how to tap into the potential of the car. In the long term, it's the most cost efficient mod you will have invested in.

Congratulations! I just got one last week. Since I did not get a boost gauge with mine and I want to run more boost I'm going to get a SBC-iD because it will give me a boost readout and allow me to raise it.
