I have Front and Rear LSDs I do not want to replace. Can I still use the STi RA gear set?

SHould be good to go. WHen you do the gears you are only really replacing the center area of the tranny (internal wise). The center diff, and front diff are up to you. The gears change the gear ratios, but do not change the center diff ratio.

do you carry the non-RA gearset? I've always gone between the 2 because of gas mileage.

Just RA sets at this time. Optimal acceleration, gas mileage will take a small hit, but sometimes sacrifices are worth it

ravi- tranny is sent dry. We run Durablend 75/90 in our trannies with good results. I beleive that case holds right around 4 quarts. I can double check this though tomorrow. Mobil 1 synthetic works well in there too. I think it is 80/90. Both of these can be purchased at your local automotive store (pep boys, etc).

5th gear is also Sti RA. Crusing at 80 should be right around 4200-4500 rpm.

Hey guys, I was wondering how much it would cost for all the parts of a JDM 5speed (non dccd) swap would cost? Also about how much WHP and torque would the new setup be able to take? Thanks guys and hope to hear from you soon

P.S. I have a 5 speed WRX now

If so, and you can get one to Exeter Subaru in NH within like 8-9 days you 99% chance have a sale

I will also be needing a clutch and a serviceable stock weight flywheel, so let me know what ya got

Is it acceptable to dyno a car with the 35/65 split aka non-dccd trannies or dccd trannies that don't have it hooked up?

will the DCCD setup on the top work in a 02 USDM WRX 5 speed tranny. If so, it should work in an 99-01 RS.

Davenow- Sounds good, keep me in the loop. No used flywheels or decent lightly used clutches at this time. New Exedy and ACT ready to ship.

Soon2Bgreat- sure do. $40 + ship and it is yours.

InfamousDX- If you put a DCCD transmission on a Dynometer the center differential (DCCD unit) will begin to freek out. You run the risk of overheating it and blowing it out. If you have teh DCCD hooked up (via one of the DCCD kits we sell) then it will work fine on the dyno.

Top_Dog- yes, the DCCD computer system (sold seperately) is a standalone unit which will work in just about any application.

Beecha91- Crating it now. You actually picked up the last nonDCCD in inventory 2 more inbound in 1-2 weeks time though. No real shortage.

InfamousDX- not bad at all. We may do a write up on the install once we finish ours next week. Very few wires to hook in. Essentially power, ground, cluster (optional).

Davenow- Sounds good.
