big thing ;)

Default roll cage options: powder coating Vs. polishing. green WRX.

im about to purchase a 10-point weld in roll cage.
being a show car, i want it to be pretty and functional.

i was initially looking at the cusco 6point, mainly bc of the blue. (bling points!1)

my options on dolling it up are:

A: powdercoating/ painting it blue (like the cusco)
B: doing a high polishing job.

my interior consists of full sti v8 interior (blue/black) including the carpet.

here's a pic of my exterior to give you an idea.

thx =)

Default Well,

IMHO the blue Cusco cage would look like crap compared to your charcoal/silver outside theme. I would do something with those orange sidemarkers (tint film, etc to try to blend in), they really stand out. I'd also "cover" the front license plate holes/mounting area. I'd think about black powdercoat or polish the material (you didn't state, but I assume steel?) you will use for the cage. Also, by the time you buy a kit and have it welded by anyone competent, you might as well have a custom cage made. I know someone here that quoted me $2K, and after seeing his work, I am seriously considering it. Nothing short of art.

Nothing beats a white cage inside of a gray car. You wrote that your car is green in the first post. Maybe it's the pics, but it looks gray to me. But if it is slightly green, then in that case, I would still go with white for the cage. Blue wouldn't match the green. If you later decide that you want a blue cage, you can put blue pads on the cage. Done!

isn't it obvious? powedercoat it solid dark green.

give you contrast with your JDM green paint job and still have a thematic style.

3. Semi-gloss black.
