Default Emanage problem

I have a 99 rs-t that I recentely hooked up e-manage to.My rpm signal wasnt working nor was my injector duty cycle reading in real time. The wire to the tach signal must not have been soldered good enough ,but when I reconnected it the car starts then stalls. If I keep on the gas it runs and reads idc and rpm but stalls after I let off the gas.I unhooked the tach wire and bam it starts and runs fine.Does anyone have any suggestions. -Scott

I didnt have my dvom with me yesterday but I checked it today and I have 5 volts coming out of the e-manage for the tach signal.I have a feeling the e-manage may be shorted internaly unless its backfeeding somewhere.Any ideas?
