Default Going to Rocky Mountain Rally?

I'm interested in attending and volunteering at Rocky Mountain Rally next month but I need people to split the travel expenses with.

I don't mind driving my car or riding with others, but I can't justify the cost by myself.

So who wants to come along... any island crew people to split ferry costs?

im going, but i think i am catching a ride with someone else, as i am crewing for them.

i dont know how many spectators will head over from BC, but you might be able to post on specialstage in the canada west forum and find a bc team looking for someone to help crew for them

I'm interested in going, but can't take any time off work. I get off work at 4:30 on Friday and start at 8am Monday. I'm guessing that's no good to you?
I guess that is cutting it pretty short, come to think of it. Maybe I'd be better off flying out.
What were some of the cost estimates you came up with, including gas/accomodations etc.

friday afternoon is the parc expose, and the special stages around the blackfoot motorcycle park (which is where 2 cars flipped last year), so if you are gonna make it out, i would suggest being there by friday noon time ish.... then the rest of the rally is about 1.5hrs south of calgary on saturday and wraps up that night.

Thanks for the info, I guess it's only worth my time to go if I can take Friday off. Going all the way there just to see one day of rallying probably isn't worth it. Guess I'll have to talk to my boss and see if I can arrange to take Friday off.
My Dad works for Air Canada, so I'm hoping he might be able to hook me up with free/cheap plane tickets. Doesn't look like driving is really an option for me because of my tight schedule.
