Default Man those fog lights are aimed low!

Riding in my GF's 2003 Baja, the fog lights seemed like they would work GREAT, for, say, doing surgery immediately in front of the vehicle. But for seeing down the road???

Are they on an adjustable bracket? Has anyone just replaced them outright?

Cheers,
Anders

They have a height adjustment screw on top off to the side.

Well, thats kinda the point of fog lights. THe thing that REALLY bothers me is that you cannot turn them on independantly of the headlights. It completly defeats the purpose of a "fog" light when the headlights are blinding you.

THey fill in nicely when use with the headlights though. I can see where you would want more range though.

There's a mod that allows you to turn them on seperatly. I think it's at Scoobymods. I'm sure you can find it on this board too, if you searched for "fog light mod" or something.

Good luck!

But go get in a European car and all of their fog lights will turn on with the parking lights. Lights up the road under the fog and makes visibility much better...no "Mod" required.

Is there a mod that will allow the headlights to be turned off? I guess this would be a DRL disable. And I do like the idea of having the running lights with the foglights.

It bothers me that I can't even turn them to the off position to signal a semi or something.

DRLs unplug right under the dash. Did that within a week of having the car.

I'm lost with my '03 Baja anyone figure it out?

I've revived both threads for easier access in finding pertinent information
