Default Cat. bank one code??

My check engine light has been on for awhile. I went to get it looked at and the computer said that cat. bank 1 low. Is there any way I can make it so my check engine light will go off without getting a new cat. (I don't really need it anyway) Subaru turned it off but it came back on 3 hours later. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I talked to the dealer about that. They said that the light will have to go off twice for them to be able to warrenty it. That seems to be some B.S. to me. I just hit 60k.
