Default After Market Clutches, Pressure Plates, and Flywheels...

Just curious who has had luck / issues with what products??? I am getting a new clutch in the next week, and am wondering what to go with....

Exeddy, Spec, ACT, Clutchmasters??

Who has had problems with what?? What weight is considered bad on the flywheel...is it < 12lbs?

I am debating on another OEM clutch, however Im afraid it will just slip after another 30k miles....

I am planning on a tranny swap next year, so compatibility with a 6spd would be good, but not all important if its gonna be a ****ty combo....

Anyone know anything about these???

I have an exedy cerametallic clutch and RA Gears with the stock final drive. When I first got the clutch I hated the horrible clutch shudder I'd get during take-off but after a break-in of about 500 miles I got used to it and engagement was smoother. On the other hand, when it comes to launching I get squeamish because I can feel the shock the gears are taking and the clutch wanting to grip. It's a great clutch, but I don't recommend it if you plan on launching a bit. I can't get the tires to break loose, but it could just be the driver. This one on ebay looks like it might be the organic clutch thought, and I've heard pretty much nothing but positive feedback about them.

ah sorry - that is NOT the same clutch - that is the Exedy OEM clutch (we can get that as well and I can tell you pricing tomorrow). The one on our site is the Exedy Sport clutch, which has a pressure plate with 27% more clamp than stock
