any brand, as long as its not underdriven.... Not everybody has problem with the underdriven ones, but I havent heard anything from the lightened pulleys (ie. Perrin)

I would avoid the underdrive pulley unless you get a harmonic balancer? But unorthadox makes nice stuff I have them on my other car and never had a problem.

I am lookin to replace my pulleys also and was lookin at the FAQ and the scoobymods install instructions. It says to use these belts: Gates: Micro-V K040340 14mm X 875mm & Gates: Micro-V K050336 18mm X 870mm. So i am assuming that the OEM belts wont work??
Sorry if i hijaked your thread but we were on the topic anyways...

You should read unabombers thread about pulleys. Some say they have issues with even the lightened pulleys.

I just ordered my N1's and I'm going to install them tonight if they don't take too long. I'll tell you how it goes. They make ultra light pulleys, so maybe go with them.

The best pulleys are the stock ones, powdercoated by me of course.

Just buy a crank pully, or an underdriven set. I just installed my pully set and there was almost no difference weight wise with the Power Steering pulley and alternator pulley. There was a large difference with the crank pully though.
