Question Engine Vibration?

my engine vibrates from side to side when i start my car. you know how powerful cars engines are always moving side to side. well mine does this a lot. Is something bad in the car (engine pads) or is the wrx supposed to do that? my last car was american with lots of horsepower so the engine did that.

Its the boxer engine. The pistons move side to side. If you get STi motor mounts, the vibrations will be more defined. It is suppose to do that. But... then again, I dont know how much your engine is really shaking. If your Air conditioning is on, the vibrations will be more noticable as well.
