Question Problem with LED

I put in a few extra leds today in my gauges and I replaced the parking brake bulb. Turns out now the bulb stays on even if the brake is released, but it gets even brighter when the brake is engaged. Any ideas?

There may be a small amount of leakage current through the bulb even with the brake down, perhaps through the circuit for the brake fluid level sensor or because it's connected to the DRL module (if you haven't unplugged it). It's probably not enough current to light the bulb but it is lighting the LED because their current requirements are much less than standard bulbs. The fix would be to take the LED out and put the original bulb back in.
