Had my original clutch replaced at ~10k km(under warranty) because of bad shudder, and it had started to slip. now at about 40K and I am starting to feel like the clutch just isn't grabbing right. As I engage the clutch slowly the car doesn't feel like it catches the way it used to, it feels like it's going to stall instead... I havn't had it slip under load, and the engagement point doesn't seem any different, maybe I'm just getting paranoid? the only recent mods have been steering rack bushings, the grounding mod, and updating Accessport to the latest revision of St.2
I don't do any racing, I'm not into getting low 1/4 times or doing hard launches, just regular/frequent spirited driving. I a sure aclutch upgrade is in my future, so I'm wondering what my best options would be, Sti... ACT.?? and where (in Canada) I'm going to get the best products at the best price? Any opinions or suggestions are welcome

Try LaChute Subaru in Quebec (where I got mine from, very friendly and good to deal with), Northern Performance or your local tuner shop.

I've in the same boat. Did a warranty replacement for clutch shudder but this new cluth they put in feels weird. When leaving the lights it feels like it grabs then all of a sudden it lets loose. But it feels like its slipping for a while. It was really stinking for a while to until they adjusted it at subaru. I as well dont do hard launches either.

I'm glad I'm not alone on this one... I get really paranoid about the clutch, even though I know I don't ride it, or abuse it Just would like the security of something better after upping the power going through the rather weak OEM driveline.
Lachute is good, I got my up/down pipes from them ...but a little too much $$ for a lot of their stuff ...Ideally, a set of cryo treated, shot piened RA gears, heavy duty street clutch and a slightly lighter flywheel would be going in, however the bank likes me to pay my mortgage!
