Default why are they scared of the WRX

I tried to engage in a little street jaunt with some kid in a modded 2G Eclipse GSX last nite. I blipped the throttle a couple times as I pulle up next to him. We then proceeded to a light and he rolls his window down and asks if its a WRX.

"Yes".
"How much boost??"
"Stock boost is 13psi"

He then waved his hands and told me to catch up to him in a couple weeks.

I don't get it. The WRX is not *THAT* fast. I've been in plenty of lightly modded street cars that would gladly hand the WRX its ass. Guess maybe the commercials are that intimidating.

I put the hurt down in Boulder on a modded galant VR4. It did quite well for being a 10 year old car. It was pretty cool. I actually got my passenger to grab the dash and exclaim some pretty cool words.

What did the VR4 look like? My buddy has one so I'm kind of curious. His is dark grey, almost black with tint.

I'm not too sure. It was dark. However, the car was a darker color.

Well that narrows it down to 3 out of the 4 colors that the VR-4 was offered in. Belize Green, Nile Black, or Kensington Grey Metallic. Summit White was also available.

Almost sad that I know all of those.
