Tuner, Wideband, and UTEC

I was curious if anyone knew how the Tuner from Turbo XS interfaces with the UTEC so that it logs all as one? I use a Lambda meter from ETAS at work and was wondering if this could be hooked up to the UTEC? Here are some quick specs:

It won’t work. That’s because the tuner is really the aggregation point for the log. The tuner controller is more like an aggregation point for both UTEC and WB data. The UTEC sends information to the tuner and not the other way around. The tuner then adds its WB data and sends it out to the computer.

In order to get another WB tool to log with the UTEC you need to log both (with RPM) and use the RPM data to merge the two logs. Some people here have done that here with the LM-1 and one other WB with a self written custom application.

Those custom apps are log mergers? Or do they do it in real time?

I believe they were log mergers but I'm not 100% certain. To be honest I did not follow the threads closely as I ended up buying a Tuner.
