Default how to install my hids???

ok...as stupid as this sounds...i have no frekkin idea how to do this...i bought a xtec kit, ballasts, bulbs, & wiring kit...didnt come with instructions & i suck at electrical stuff...can someone guide me thru this???

there is a HID faq stickied in this forum.

read it.

if you suck at electrical stuff, i recommend you sell the kit.

It is a very electronically technical install... if you don't feel comfortable with tearing your harness apart and installing the ballasts safely, you probably have no business attempting to run this kit.

that said, you have an 05 wrx... which means your headlight reflector housings are designed to work with halogen bulbs, NOT hid's. the hid's in your housings will cause unwanted glare, and will be unsafe. if you have any regard for the safety and wellbeing of others, you will seriously reconsider this setup.

no actually i've been hanging out with my final social problems and buddhism papers- my soul is now bitter!!

but i also saw SeeinStaRS' 9004 retrofit in the day light, and must agree that you need HID housings.
