Default information about version 7 cluster shift light and outside temp

I put a version 7 gauge cluster in my swapped car and in the beginning the shift light would beep when I reached the correct RPM. I then figured out how to change the RPMs by fiddling with the knob on the left, but now it no longer beeps. I want it back, how do I do it?

Also I have an outside temp gauge that doesn't work, I seem to remember there was a tutorial somewhere to wire it up and make it work. Anyone remember?

Thanks

I know on my V8 cluster after you adjust the shift light position, it then changes to where you can turn the beep on and off. I did not know the V7 cluster had a shift light...

As for the temp gauge, you have to wire up the sensor.

What you do is turn the key to the on position and turn the knob to the left...IIRC. You then can set the RPM level and it will then ask beep or no beep(in it's own language)...I believe it will say on/off. Select "on" w/ the knob. You should be all set. Let us know how it works out.
