Was a guy called H2OSB running 02 WRX wagon susp on a Leg OB... and the GG wagon stuff is fairly compatible with earlier Imprezas... I know it's the other way around from what you want to do... but maybe a search under his username would get ya started?

Sorry - best I can do.

You will get a lot more information in the suspension forum...

I have some '04 WRX wagon fronts with 10K that I will sell you for $50 each plus freight. You will need to swap the top hats, but they are a much better choice for your car...

I appreciate the offer but I would still need rears and I can get ones from the wreaker for 50$ period no freight. Down the road I might get some others but for now I just want my car to stop bounceing.

$50/shock is not a good deal at all for used struts, but I have used several sets of 93-01 Impreza struts on my 2nd generation Legacy and I can tell you they fit and work just fine.
