Default Engine Bay fusebox differences WRX vs. RS

Well whats the difference between the two? Are the relays different in each? Is the structural box different? In the service manual it does not show a different fusebox between the turbo and non-turbo model?

Hmm.

I couldn't tell you what exactly is different, but I can tell you that you can use your stock fusebox for the conversion so you shouldn't have to worry about any differences. You don't even have to mess with any wires in that area of the car. All the power wires you'll need are under the dash, either already wired into the oem ECU or with the mainrelay and fuel pump relay.

Hmmm, so your saying I dont need the Front harness at all? Hmm, I will have to do some more research, I thought there was a reason I needed it... In the service manual it says that connectors F60 & F61 are only on the turbo engine model. I thought if I could use my current fusebox, that might save some cash...

Yea, connectors F60 and F61 are the two connectors in the engine bay that connect to the engine harness. They are different connectors for the WRX and you will need them. They don't have anything to do with the fusebox though. Well I guess it depends on how you look at it, F60 and F61 connect to the main dash harness, and the enginebay fusebox connects to the main dash harness, as well as everything else on the car in some roundabout way so I guess they all are kind of related. If you are planning to swap the entire dash harness(I'm pretty sure it has been done, it's definitely not the easiest way to do swaps though), then you would probably want to have that fusebox, but otherwise it's not needed.

Basically at a minimum you'll need F60 and F61, and a couple inches of wire off the end to wire into, and the ecu connectors with a couple inches of wire. Anything else is icing on the cake.
