World One 2.5L Short Blocks 500 WHP Capable. Stages I, II, III, and IV.

Hi there folks..

Many of you are making enough power that you are considering upgrading to a slightly or heavily built bottom end. In order to fill the void between built race motors and stock bottom ends we have devised a few solutions that we hope nasioc will find as valued additions to the after market.

Stage I: Basic 2.5L Upgrade 1799.00

Your basic 2.5L short block upgrade. All you need to replace or upgrade to 2.5L and be on your way. Kit includes all needed gaskets.

Intake Manifold Gaskets x2
Exhaust Manifold Gaskets x2

Stage II USDM STI 2.5L SHort Block: Forged Pistons 2450.00

A simple but very effective upgrade. This is the exact same set up used in the ELEMENT TUNING TIME ATTACK WRX which just made 554 uncorrected WHP. The thread on this can be found here. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=753035 This block is 500 WHP and 30 PSI capable. If you are considering going with a rotated turbo set up like a GT35R or Elements GT65 kit, this is a very worth while upgrade so that you can up the boost without having to worry quite as much. Consider ARP headstud upgrade for added safety. This block is our best bargain.

CP USDM STI OE BORE forged pistons

Options:
ARP Head Studs + 200.00

Stage III USD STI 2.5 L Short Block: Pistons and Rods 3130.00

Just like Stage II only with the addition or RODS. Although the rods on the limit of the stock 2.5L rods hasn't exactly been realized by most turbo kits currently available. All of the rotated GT turbo kits ect. have not been on the market very long and longevity is a concern. The addition of rods to your block will make your block 550-600 WHP capable. The addition of ARP head studs is highly reccomended.

Stage IV USD STI 2.5 L Short Block: Getting Camy 3899.00

Just like Stage III, except now with the help of crower cams you are intaking and exhausting more air. The crower stage II cam requires no additional head work or valve train modification. The specs on the cams are very close to those of a manufacturer whose name start with J whose products have a very high price tag. These are the low cost cam that many subarus owners have been waiting for. We will have a WOrld One Stage IV block on the dyno as soon as possible to demonstrate the effectiveness of the cams and the other components. These are not fully assembled, correct?

These are fully assembled short-blocks and the user will need to transfer over manifolds and heads.
