Default cobb 2.5 - finally hitting targest boost! woohoo!

well, after almost 5,000 miles of cobb 2.5, i'm finally hitting target boost! i've tried a lot of things since then to try to fix my low boost issue, as the max i've seen was 1.06 bar. i've done everything from replacing hoses, making sure the restrictor pill was in the right place, tightening hose clamps, etc, but still wasn't hitting target boost. i recently replaced my stock intercooler with an awesome AVO unit, but boost still wasn't where i wanted it to be. boost did build up a lot quicker though to the usual 1.05-1.06 bar i would see. then i figured i'd change my exhaust setup. didn't want to spend too much money, so i went on ebay and purchased ss autochromes full turboback setup. i did my research first of course, and i've been hearing a lot of good reviews lately. i replaced my helix downpipe and mrt catback. the exhaust sounds very very deep, although i did lose the boxer grumble. the exhaust is not loud at all, especially when cruising! i was very surprised. reset the ecu of course, and took off driving. the max boost i could see was still only 1.05-1.06 bar, so i was still disappointed. it's been about 500 miles since i installed both the new turboback and the avo intercooler, and today while driving to work, i went WOT in third and BAM! my gauge registered 1.17 bar!!! I was totally in shock and happy at the same time. just to make sure it wasn't a boost spike or boost creep, i went WOT several times on the freeway and it hit 1.17 consistently on all occasions. I'm very happy the car feels a lot better now, and i don't know if the AVO intercooler or the new turboback helped, maybe both, but at least my boost is where i want it to be! now let's see what happens when i instally my perrin inlet this weekend...
