Guys.. just curious.. do these work in STIs? It says it's for the 2.5L, just wondering if that also includes the turbo version...

Hmmm... is it just me or is it that according to the manufacturer's website, these are pistons for 97-98 2.5L Imprezas (i.e. DOHC engines)?

Just curious.. not that I need these things... Always good to learn, though..

As far as I know, these will work in an STi (EJ257) block. There is a small catch though. The EJ257 and EJ251 (NA 2.5L) crank are identical as are the bores and deck height, however the rod length is different. So, if you want to use these pistons in an STi engine, you'll need either RS rods (bad idea) or rods spec'd to the same length as an RS. This is obviously not a big deal if you are upgrading the stock rods and you definately have to if you want to even come close to pushing these pistons.
