Default I miss the days of?

Full Boost part Throttle.

I have just installed a Blitz DSBC and i am not impressed.

I miss the days of full boost at part throttle in 4th and 5th gears, that i got with my MBC. Made highway cruising so much more enjoyable.

Heh, and here no one believed me when I said aftermarket EBCs magically somehow help a little different with PTFB...

So, anyhow, you do realize that PTFB isn't something you want? Why do you need to be a partial throttle? Why can't you be at full throttle to "enjoy" the ride? Why would you find PTFB impressive?

Well it goes in 1st and 2nd. But on the highway in 5th, it was a slug, i had to knock it down to 3rd. When i had the MBC, touch it in 5th and it was haulin.

PS: I have a TBE, CAI, TurboXS Unichip.

I miss the days when people used a descriptive subject line.

And if you want PTFB without sending engine parts up through you hood, get real engine management, or an MBC with axillary fueling.

eh .. as it goes the unichip hasn't blown many cars up .. mostly because you had to be a dealer to program them

all the aps/vishnu unichips were programed to deal with partial throttle boost

Funny thing about 5th gear. You're not suppose to haul ass in it. Ever bother to find out your EGTs when you were "haulin" in 5th gear? If you're below 75mph should to drop to 3rd to a good punch.
