Yes. The Standard version will work with the TXS TMICs. Not sure about the V7 JDM STI.
If it doesn't work for you, send it back. We want our customers to be happy. 02/03 Std shield is $75 shipped to that zip. Thanks, Jeremy |

How far does the chimney go above the intercooler? I'm interested in one of these, but my hood is a little closer to the intercooler than a WRX's.

Its a little higher (about an inch to inch/half) than the stock TMIC in the WRX. Designed to fit against the stock scoop grate. Seal on top of chimney will compress against the grate to ensure a rattle free fit - so you may have some wiggle room there. Fitment will depend on how much lower your hood is located.

sorry, larger TMIC takes up the space needed for the chimney. You are going to need the standard heat shield.
Those are on sale now: $59 shipped. THanks, Jeremy |

Rain or snow has NOT been a problem. We've had no issues from any customers reporting any water damages. It is protected by the stock air grate and also b/c the shield is slightly off center so that any water getting though has a chance to drain & away from the turbo.

No, the problem is that most of the FMIC piping runs over the area that the stock TMIC bracket uses. This creates a problem for the chimney - in regards to real estate in that area above the turbo.
