Post New Logo: EPS or vector file?

So... Are you going to release this logo as a vector file (EPS, AI, etc) so we can start sticking it on stuff? Or is the i-club going to be the sole provider of paraphenilia (sp) with the logo on there?

We need stuff! Coffee mugs, t-shirts, prophylactics, boxers (briefs?), edible underwear, etc.

Cool! Anyone want to start an online betting pool to mark the date that will happen? I'm guessing maybe as long as it took to get the new website up.

Just kidding. You guys (and gal) have been doing a kick-honda job at running things smoothly. I think its time to do it full time. 6000 users * $20 / year is just enough to replace a full time job, right?

Can't wait for the i-club labeled prophylactics.

The image won't be provided... and I please ask that nobody use the logo on anything they print without our explicit permission of Alex and myself.

All I can say is iClub stuff is on it's way. You have to understand we've never had capital to do much with the site other and just struggle to keep it alive. The site right now is still run completely out of pocket. All donations that we're even given in the past have always gone towards hardware or software... but that money has since been long gone... and goes rather quickly when we do have it.

The money to run the site in my opinion should not come from the members... nor would it work in reality. It's just to hard to get that many people to agree on something... especially when it comes to shelling out money. Providing the new banner ads start to generate enough revenue so we can have capital to buy stuff like hats, t-shirts, mugs, all sorts of stuff, then I am all for it. With this type of capital we can also start having contests with prizes, and things like that. It's just all a game of numbers right now... but trust me, I am diligently working on it.

Hehe... and if we get enough money... iClub labeled prophylactics is a great idea!

Got you covered like a Jimmy Hat,
-Nick

can you guys animate the logo? That'd be really cool.

First make the words i-club appear, then the WRC drives up leaving the blue streaks behind it.

You could probably pull it off with Flash or something.

I thought I was "logo'd-out", but then up popped the club's new one! Very cool ... who designed it? I love seeing a Subaru when I log on, and it has nice movement, too.
Great selection! Vickey/B-SpecUSA

Thanks for the compliments, wish I had more to do with it than picking and uploading it!

Maybe the money should come from the Vendors... hmmm... sounds like a fair idea since they make money from the users here in the first place.
