Default FS: 2002 WRX. White. 24,000 kms, six speed

I'm selling a 2002 WRX that I imported from the US. It was Trey Cobb's personal car that they were going to turn into a race car but changed direction. I needed to do a few things to bring it back to stock, but its all done now.

It is licensed and registered now as a Canadian car (clear title BTW). I had the out of province inspection done by Centaur Subaru. The only issues at inspection were alignment (which I knew it was going to need) and they made me remove the tint from the front windows

The car has less than 15,000 miles on it and is very very clean. It is stock with the following exceptions:

JDM six speed with correct ratio rear diff
Autometer boost and EGT gauges in centre console
JDM STi front grill (Subaru part, not replica)
Very light "silvery" tint
Vishnu Up Pipe
STi turboback exhaust

I'll post pics as soon as my wife returns with the digicam.

Asking $28,000 o.b.o.

The trunk lid and rear doors were gutted for weight reduction - I replaced them.
The rear decklid was gutted for no apparent reason - I replaced with a new Subaru part
A bunch of take off parts were taken off and thrown away - I replaced them all
Someday over a beer I will tell you what I think about Cobb now. [Deleted content] But I've made it right now - I won't be making any money on this...

Is this the car you need aligned? If not, perhaps we should do it first and save you a few $$.

No, I paid to have this one aligned at Centaur. What a racket eh? Compel people to have out of province inspection, then nit pik the details, threaten to fail you (then you have to do it again for another billable hour) or offer to provide the necessary services in their shop to pass you.

I can see failing someone for the tint (its against the law after all) but for a slightly cocked steering wheel? It drove and tracked fine, but the wheel needed to be centred.

thanks for the kind words. There a still a couple of little pieces I'm waiting on from Subaru (plastic trim stuff and misc interior fasteners) but they've been ordered and paid for, so they'll be with the car when its sold.

Cool. Any chance you could "accidentily" move it to the front page in color?

No, seriously...

well, I saw this car (and drove it) today. It's top notch and literally a steal for what Fragment's asking for it.

Hey all,

Steve put alot of hard work on this one to make it all good. He put a shyat load of brand new Subaru Parts into it. And if you ever want to put a nice sound system in it... all of the noise reduction has been done! Nice car with the 6spd.

Thanks for the bump guys. Someone needs to buy this soon; my wife likes driving it more than the blue one. I can't afford to keep it, but pretty soon she's going to hang some plushy stuffed animal from the mirror and it will officially become a permanent fixture.
