Default AP reflashes and HUGE turbos?

what are the problems one would run into with nonbolt on (rotated) turbo setups, when tuning to reflash the ECU?

Well, You would only hit a few problems. First of all, getting a clean signal from the MAF sensor is a big one. It took us alot of work and some really creative intake fabrication to get it done right. Second, you would have a hard time driving an external wastegate off of the stock boost control solenoid; it just isnt designed for the additional pressure required. Other than that, it would actually be very straight forward; just like tuning any other larger turbo car. In the ideal situation, all of the other required supporting modifications would be in place and tuning for one map, with ProTuner of StreetTuner, would take about 2-3 hours of dyno time. Feel free to call us @ Cobb on Monday and I, or any of my associates would be glad to discuss more fully the capability of our ECU reflashing based tuning. Who knows... if you visit, we may even let you look at our really nasty rotated turbo kit we just finished building
