Does anyone know how i could fix a few scratches on the paint job, the scratches are very thin on a front bumper lip that were caused by rubbing the front, which lead to strain marks, any suggestions would really be appreciated you can also pm if you have the solution.
thanks

Sounds like the problem might not be scratches but cracks in the paint? If your front is rubbing and pushing that bad on the bumper, you may have cracked the paint. If they are exterior scratches, I've had great luck with Meguiars #2 polish. If they're deeper you might try wet sanding with 2000 grit sandpaper then using the #2 polish (Deep Crystal).
Meguiars.com has some great how-to's and training videos too. |

Mr Clean makes good suggestions. If they turn out to be more severe, you can get spray-on base & clear coats at places like www.paintscratch.com.

you should've have gotten a little thing of touch up paint from the dealer when you bought your car...read the directions on it...it's usually just hitting the scratches with the paint and letting it dry and polishing it out...if you don't want to go that route then the suggestions above would definitely suffice...polishing on the bumper though should be done by hand...and not with a machine polisher because the bumpers are plastic and don't like the heavy machinery on them...you can get away with it, just be careful if you do use a machine polisher...
