Default boost creep? need help

need some help, i believe i"m having boost creep. my factory egt sensor took a ****. So i replaced it whit a 2.2 ohm resitor. Now in different gears i hit different boost levels instead of 20lbs all the time. i have a new factory sensor coming. but it just started after the sensor went. is that boost creep.

Not the right forum. If you hit 20psi before this issue began, I think you should post your mods, along with specific boost levels at specific RPMs, along with this thread... in the 2.0 forum. (Try 'search' too, they'll eat you alive if it's a common problem.)

I don't know about all the 2.5 motors but I don't have an EGT anywhere from the factory.

Edit: On second thought, that depends on whether you are actually getting creep or not. Boost creep occurs when you don't have enough exhaust bypassing the turbo housing, so let's say you're set for 20 psi and you bring the car to WOT - the car will reach its target boost, but then as engine speed climbs, so will your boost. You've reached the limit of your wastegate's ability to bleed off pressure. If this is what is going on and you wish to tune it out, refer to above thread - if not, then by all means, keep posting. Without more information, its hard to say.
