Default My 10 year old........best in State!

Maryland State Gymnastic meet was held yesturday, my daughter placed in each event. 1st in Beam (Best in State Woo Hoo!), 2nd overall best 10 year old gymnast in the state of Maryland!

Technically she was robbed, her vault appeared perfect. It took the judges 5 minutes to score, we were thinking they were debating if it were a perfect 10. The head judge was summonds over and noticed her shaking her head. Then they threw up a 9.5 Needless to say politics were no doubt involved, this surprised many as she finished in a 4 way tie for 4th in vault when many in the stands stated it was the best. I know parents can be biased, but it was obvious and the coaches confronted the judges. She missed 1st place overall by .125 of a point Oh well, it happens and I am extremely proud. Just wanted to brag about her, she rocked!

thanks! The optomitrsist a.k.a. eye doctor suggested waiting till August for contacts. The poor girl has had her glasses fly off once during a floor routine, she kept with her routine.
