Question IHI 5psi turbocharger

Im sure this question has been asked before and I looked through ALL the other posts but I couldnt find anything that I was looking for. So.....If I put the IHI 5psi Turbo kit from JCsports on my 100% stock 2002 RS ,which is 5-speed manual, what can I expect for 0-60, and 1/4 mile times. Im only asking because I want to make sure Im not wasting my money.(wasting it on the wrong thing anyway)

Default other kits

I have the JC Sports kit but would recomend looking into other kits only because of their customer service. As to 0-60 and 1/4 mile times no one has yet to turbo a MY02 RS that I know of so any figures would be based on previous years. I don't know what 0-60 on my car is but 1/4 I do. I got a 14.4 running 6lbs of boost. This was my first time and I I know I can do alot better, that time was more a reflection of me the driver than what the car can truely do.

I dont actually need MY02 times, just in the ballpark figures. 14.4 is pretty descent but i was hoping to be a little quicker maybe like 14.0-14.2, but then again you said it was because it was your first time running. That can make a huge difference.

Well, I have the same kit as Joshua.

Here are my times as of last Wednesday

It's Not 5psi, but I did run it originally a few weeks ago @ 7-5psi. It would start at 7psi, but the MBC couldn't hold it, so it was running 5psi. Those times were in the low 14's, (14.2 I believe)

As for the kit, I have NO complaints. Yes, it took a Looong time to get, but there hasn't been a single instance where something has gone wrong, yet. And I Beat the Hell out of this thing.

My honest opinion is: That this kit is as close as your gonna get to OEM quality & parts. You don't have to take my word for it, but I'm speaking from some limited experience. This includes installing another kit (Ludespeed) on a friends car. They Both perform WELL, I just like the parts used by JCS. Believe it or Not, it's just BETTER! IMHO

My $.02
