Default 245/40 R17 can this work?

I have 17x8 rota torques and want to put these tires on and was wondering if anyone knew if they would rub on my 02 WRX

I have 245/40/17 Kuhmo MX on 17x8.5 on a lowered wagon. No rub, but I do have all my fenders rolled and 400lb springs all round. You would probably be alright on the sedan, but it might on how stiff your springs were.

That's my setup. No fender rolling, no rubbing. Car's on 8k/7k springs.

It should fit. A lot of it depends on your alignment (specifically camber in the rear).
