I have a set of springs waiting to be installed to my car but I'm saving up for shocks right now.... Most likely, I'll install it in the hobby shop on base.. Problem being, I am buying 03 KYB AGX for 04s and I'm still confused on how to install the shocks. From what I researched, all I need to use was the 04 tops/hats to install them.

scooby_wooby you can use the 04 tops with a little work. but the 03 tops would fit better.

If you use the 04 tops with the 03 Struts, you will need some washers.

This thread covers a similar problem

most likely, i'll use my factory struts with the progress springs and wait until they come out with the appropriate shocks for the 04s..

special thanks to kenny and jim for the install today... everything went smoothly except a couple of things but that's just because my car makes EVERYTHING difficult, fronts and rears definately evened out but I hope it settles a bit more. I'll have pics up in member car gallery as soon as I have a lil photoshoot so keep posted!

...where the @#$% do the bumpstops go??? hahaha

It'll always settle about 1/2 inch more give or take. At least it did for the springs I've seen/installed.

I'm sure it looks good .... but how do they feel...

EDIT: Did some research. They go on front of course.. Remove the bolt at the end of the strut tube and slide the strut out, then slide the OEM off and the Prodrive one on. Thats what I came up with.

Just let me know when you wanna do it. I told you that fat angel guy would mess it up

Just kidding... Good meeting you kenny..
