Default 02-03 Fog light bulb replacement suggestions.

Ok, I searched about five times and could only find one thread dealing with 02-03 fog bulb replacement suggestions, and within that thread

there weren't many suggestions. I saw pictures of Raybrig bulbs and MAN they were beautiful, but I've only been able to find the H3's @ about 60 bucks for the 55w ones (Where else can I find them?). That's just far too expensive. What are some other good suggestions for the OEM bulb replacement? I'm looking for something white, that'll just look damn good under $50 or preferably around $40 or so. Where are some good places to buy from?

P.S.- And I don't need anything crazy white or bright Thanks a ton guys, and I apologize if I missed a thread about this.

Hmm, those do look quite good. You don't happen to have pictures of them on a real dark road do ya?

And to anyone else, what would be some other good brands besides raybrig, PIAA, etc?

What about PIAA's Super Plasmas? What are those like?

Question

Impreza2003:
I noticed that you have the STi mesh fog light covers. How did you remove it? I'm having trouble with mine. I too would like to change my fogs to yellows. I'll be using Laminix film though.

there is a screw on the bottom corner which is closest to the outside of the bumper, take out that screw and then with a screw driver (flat head), jab it under the fog light cover and lift upwards (slowly not to scratch paint and wrap the tip of the flat head with tape so it wont scratch the paint). lift upwards and when the bottom comes off just pull the thing down.

and then you'll see the screws in the back.

Yes you missed plenty of threads, this has been discussed "ad NASIOC".
Anyway what are you going for? Do you want white bulbs for the look, or are you interested in more functional fog lights? If you want effective poor weather lighting which is what the fogs are for, you are better off with yellow bulbs vs. white. For this the Ion Crystals are ok, and you can also get Narva Golds which will be cheaper than the PIAAs.

Yea, I came across a few more with a lil more searching. I went ahead with the PIAA's (yellow), because I wanted something a bit more functional for bad weather (which, gasp, i found out was indeed yellows.) We'll see how they do! I did a google for Narva bulbs, but I didn't come up with much. They seem a bit hard to find?
