Hey I live in North Hollywood,

We should hit some canyons together.
I have a blue sti with 'evokllr' on the plates, I think I might have raced a silver evo with no wing, was it you?

I only had a MBC @ the time .. now I just have a catback and a mbc - not much power there so I suppose you can say its lightly modded ...

DP goes in tonight though!

I do a lot of runs up north especially since they have increased the amount of p0p0's in the Malibu Canyons ... I'm in dire need of tires but maybe we'll go out sometime ...

I usually go out with the cars you saw in the pictures - my brother's S2000, my bro in laws STi and a S14 ....

But no it wasnt me you raced .. my car is BLACK ...

How would this work?
Hey man, I was not there to witness the race but this are my theories:

1) You were dreaming that your car was doing 14.0@95mph at 10psi
2) The Evo driver was possibly just playing with you and using your car for testing purposes

My conclusion is that the Evo driver don't know how to drive because the EvO is indeed much quicker than a WRX running 10PSI. I mean, Cmon, a WRX running 10PSI is kind slow, most people run somewhere between 14-17psi with a MBC and stock turbo.

Your gauge is probably off and giving you bad readings. The only logical and making sense possible situation is this:

You did a nice run, possibly the Evo driver got problems shifting and /or boggin down at the launch, that the Evo driver was a bad driver and definately you car was running very well but the accuracy of the gauge was way off. Other than that I don't think anyone on this forum will believe that a WRX would do 14.0@95mph running only 10psi and by the way smoking a EVO.

No offense.

By the way, what are you mods on your 10psi WRX " Evo killer"? . Well, I think that the only one kill was you, I mean, the guy(EVO 8) was running extremely below its capacity and from what he says you bearly passed him.

The guys is virtually stock just MBC. Your car has tons of mods. I knew that something was happening. An Evo has the edge in the 1/4 mile track.

If you read things correctly the guy is not who I raced. And if you really read this thred you will understand that Im not trying to put anyone or anything down. I just would like to know if it is possible to get more power with an WRX on 10PSI than an Stock EVO. So get your facts straight before jumping in a convirsation with a coment.

Why is it now that everyone seems to race on the slowest track in the US? I bet there are 10 different post on here where someone writes how slow _____ track is. You know running a 13.7 there will get you in the 12s anywhere else.

This is whats postd on LACR's web page.
ET: multiply your et (at LACR) by .97
MPH: multiply your mph (at LACR) by 1.03
This will give you the ET & MPH at sea level.
SO if anyone has a dout go to http://www.lacr.net/week.html And roll all the way to the butom of the page and you'll see what it says.

huh, BlueFish, you should be having faster times than that. My 98 RS with a 2004 JDM WRX motor at 6psi and i ran a 9.0 in the 1/8th mile. Which should be just about as fast as you. Maybe a couple 1/10th's slower. I even got timeslips somewhere.

Good to hear that. How come you are running so low on the boost.

We still didnt have the car tuned up top on the boost. We destroyed the engine later on during the day because of the MBC messed up. It pegged my boost gauge in 1st gear comming out of the hole. So, im putting a built EJ22T in my car with the same heads.

P.S. my boost gauge reads 30psi
