Bro, don't get it
twisted, bro.

Default GAUGING INTEREST ONLY right now: My Car (2003 WRX)

Never thought I'd do this but it's definitely something I'm thinking about.

I'd love to just do a drivetrain swap but thinking about it the cost is just sooo much to dump into my car over just selling mine and buying a new STi, so here I am.

Here's what would go with it:

2003 Subaru WRX Aspen White Sedan 4EAT

Power -
Silencer Hack
STi Version 8 TMIC
COBB AccessPORT Stage 2 mapped to V1.22
HKS Circle Earth Grounding System
HKS Radiator cap
HKS Downpipe
HKS Carbon-Ti Catback
HKS Uppipe

Suspension -
Rotora 4pot 330x24mm Drilled/Slotted front in Blue
Rotora 2pot 290x18mm Slotted rear in Blue
17x8" Enkei RP03 wheels w/Rays Lugs
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s 245/40R17
Genuine STi Titanium Front Strut Brace
Replica Gruppe-S STi Rear Strut Brace
Tein Type FLEX coilovers with EDFC

Exterior -
Kaminari front lip with 1-piece Carbon Fiber splitter
Rotora decals, roll call, stripes
32% Tint all around
Genuine STi Version 7 Hoodscoop
Genuine STi Version 7 Grill
Zerosport Replica splitter
Primative Racing 3/16" Front Skidplate
Euro STi LHD Projectors w/leveller
Amber Hella 500 Foglights
Debadged SUBARU
HKS emblem
2005 WRX/IMPREZA emblem
CF1 Carbon Fiber Hood
Choice of STi trunk with wing or WRX trunk with APR GTC-200 WRX-Spec Carbon Fiber wing

Interior and Dress-Up -
Euro WRX STi Floormats
IMPREZA badge on cup holder
MOMO Race Air Full Leather (old logo) shift knob
Sparco harness bar
Sparco 5-point harness
Cargo Net
Blitz DTT DCII FATT
Alpine TME-750 LCD Monitor
Alpine 7897 H/U + XM tuner
Full '04 Interior Swap (front seats, rear seat, door panels)
STi Pedals
Iron Mountain Performance engine dress up kit in whatever color you want.

I'd be asking $25000 for everything. This car could EASILY be a show winner with a little ICE, it's already a track burner as it is, even with the automatic. Ready for whatever you want to do with it.

Oh man I'm always pro bugeye. BUGEYE 4 LYFE!! It's just that the cost of swapping in a V8 drivetrain verses just buying an STi and not having to worry about everything, plus having access to some nice body kits (Cusco GT baybe!), interests me alot more.

I guess I've been staring at this background on my computer too much (04 Cusco/Advan Impreza)

Your WRX is hot. I recall the old pics back then when it was stock with the Snoqualmie backdrop, and now seeing where it's at, is amazing.
A shame to sell it, but if your trying go for more "go", I can see where your comming from.

Good luck.

RJ... you're not really helping the potential buyers who are reading this thread. Haha, but you're right.

Patrick, I would do the same thing (sell the wrx and get an STi). To me, I really don't see the point of modding my car any further when I can save the cash to get an STi. I was actually about to do that, but good news came my way and I decided to just keep my car as a daily driver from now till it croaks.

Oh, and Patrick... I think you'd have a better selling experience if you de-mod your car back to stock and sell the aftermaket stuff on nasioc. Stock cars are more "sellable" than modded ones, so chances are, you'll have better luck finding a potential buyer/or trade in if your car is stock.

even though you have some engine mods and lots of eye candy mods your car is still auto and most people don't want an auto

Yeah I'm probably going to go back to stock. Gonna be alot of work but I'll do it somehow.

Probably what I'll do is buy the STi, then transfer whatever parts I can use to it and then start the process of bringing my car back to stock with the parts I can't use on the STi. Fortunately I still have some of the big stuff, like brakes and wheels, but I'm gonna need lights and stuff. Probably just leave the fogs in there. If I get an 04 STi there's alot of parts I can transfer over (brakes to keep my sponsorship and wheels since I just bought brand new tires, plus all the hard to find JDM stuff) and alot of stuff to sell off and partial trade for stock parts. Probably have to do it sometime between shows.

Yeah, I don't know if saying that it's been raced/tracked is a good selling point. Anyway, bump for a nice bugeye.....that's possibly going bye-bye.

It's been raced lightly hahaha. Only one autox and one track day and then a open road race which is no harder on it than cruising on the freeway. 35000 miles mostly freeway miles. Raced ONCE on gravel but the suspension has been totally worked over since then.

Gosh RJ, you're just really not helping me sell this car! Where's the P1 pride??

Oops, my bad. I get bored at work here, and just end up posting stuff for no apparent reason. If you go w/ an STI, you should do a bugeye conversion. That would be awesome.

Haha I was going to do an STi conversion to my bugeye! lol

I dunno, the 04/05 styling has kinda grown on me. *shrug*

But yeah any time I sell stuff you guys always are in here like "OHhh man that's wayyy too much money blah blah blah". Don't mind so much when it's someone like Mikey, but the P1 guys gotta stick togeather huh?

I still have bug eye pride! I really didn't like the new look, until now. they are tempting me with their sexiness. Good thing my finances won't allow me to get an STI.

I think you should go back to stock and have a raffle drawing for those headlights.
