Default Baja Project Update

I was finally able to schedule an appointment for ECUTek. The date is May 31st. Mods right now are short ram air, header, STI JDM TMIC and BOV, downpipe, 3" custom catback with highflow, and transmission cooler. Waiting till night before to put in injectors, fuel pump, uppipe and VF-22 but all are ready to go. Hopefully I'll put some good numbers down. I'll post dyno plots when everything is done.

VF-22, fuel pump and uppipe went on no problem last night...unfortunately we got some bad information regarding the stock injectors and the replacements we purchased were the wrong size. The baja is getting tuned right now with all its mods except upgraded injectors. Hopefully itll still put down 280awhp at around 16psi and then next month when i get the right injectors we're gonna boost it to 20psi and hopefully get around 350awhp. I'll post updates later tonight when i get the car back...and hopefully some pics in the next few days, we took a lot while installing.

All I hafta say is WOW!!! The baja can move. The first time I floored it my head slammed back to the headrest. There is very little lag at all with the bigger turbo. Boost starts to come in at around 3000 and when it does the ass dyno is crazy. Rallispec did an amazing job with my tune, the pull is strong and steady throughout the entire power band. We didn't get it on the dyno yet, but I plan on doing so at the end of the summer. I have a new appointment for August 15th to get a retune with my test pipe, bigger injectors and possibly a second map on C16. Right now I am only running 16psi, but should do 19 or 20 with the bigger injectors. I am going to the track this Saturday so hopefully I'll use up the rest of the film in my camera and i'll be able to post some pics of the upgrade process. And I'll have some 1/4 mile numbers, which we're expecting right now to be around a 13.5!
