Anyone know if 2nd gen legacy shocks will mount to a 95 impreza coupe?
and would they be any stiffer? a local junk yard has several low mile 2nd gens includeing an OB and wants 50$ a peice and my coupes shocks are shot.

Was a guy called H2OSB running 02 WRX wagon susp on a Leg OB... and the GG wagon stuff is fairly compatible with earlier Imprezas... I know it's the other way around from what you want to do... but maybe a search under his username would get ya started?

yes
its a bad idea but yes you can get non adjustable kybs for 80/ each |

I would like some more input before I buy the shocks, these are only untill I can afford some aftermarket ones.

You will get a lot more information in the suspension forum...
I have some '04 WRX wagon fronts with 10K that I will sell you for $50 each plus freight. You will need to swap the top hats, but they are a much better choice for your car... |

$50/shock is not a good deal at all for used struts, but I have used several sets of 93-01 Impreza struts on my 2nd generation Legacy and I can tell you they fit and work just fine.
